Purpose of role:
Provide electrical design, technical analysis and /or resolution of engineering problems. Supervise subordinate engineers and designers. Provide direction and coordination of electrical design for large EPC projects.
Skills required:
- Prepare electrical designs for large scale EPC projects
- Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions
- Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personnel
- Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients
- Lead an electrical design group on large scale EPC projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must possess superior engineering skills
- Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
- 5+ years as a project electrical lead engineer
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school.
- Must have experience as a project lead on complex, multi-discipline engineering design or EPC projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
